EVENT PREVIEW

The MOD is focused on accelerating Defence Innovation through funding and opportunities across various technology fields, particularly digital technologies in the "cognitive domain." This involves enhancing our own capabilities while disrupting those of potential adversaries.

This event will explore:

  • How Defence leverages innovation to maintain the UK’s national security through strategic planning and investment in science and technology.
  • Funding opportunities to transform ideas into practical solutions.
  • Innovations in the cognitive domain, focusing on technologies that enhance decision-making and operational outcomes.

By targeting the cognitive domain, the event will highlight technologies that improve decision-making by reducing cognitive load through AI, data analytics, and machine learning, as well as degrading enemy capabilities via information warfare and influence operations.

Attendees will engage with MOD, academic, industry, and scientific experts to learn about opportunities and funding in defence innovation, with a focus on enhancing decision-making and gaining information advantages. Hosted by DASOBU, a leader in defence and security research, the event will cover:

  • MOD strategies for promoting and funding innovation.
